Vicky Liu – Program Directress

Vicky was born and raised in China, she had moved to Canada with her family in 2008. She has been working with children since 2011. After graduate from college, she worked as assistant teacher in child care centres and private Mandarin tutor for several years. Then she decided to further her education through AMI Montessori approach at Montessori Training Centre of BC. After completing her Montessori and ECE training in 2016, she had worked as Montessori school principal and Montessori Assistant Trainer in China for 2 years. She returned to Canada in 2018 after she was pregnant with her first daughter Erica. Vicky is passionate about working with children, as a professional Early Childhood Educator she understands what children needs in their development, as a mother of two little girls, she understands parent’s expectations, anxieties and concerns. She believes it is a privilege to work with different families in order to help their little ones to grow and learn.

Grace Cho – Manager & Lead Teacher

Grace was born and raised in South Korea. She has been working with children since 2017 and moved to Vancouver with passion to become an Early Childhood Educator in Canada. She has obtained her Early Childhood Educator certificate in 2018 and furthered her training as an Infant and Toddler Educator in 2019 and has been working with children in Canada ever since. Her philosophy is learning happens through positive relationships, exploration, experiences and sense of belonging that enable children to become productive contributors to the world they live.

Jien Elise – Teacher

Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology (SFU)

Jien Elise, or “Jen’, was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada when she was 7 years old with her family. She started volunteering with children when she was a teen. After graduating from SFU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psycology in 2018, she worked as a one-to-one support staff for preschool children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She furthered her education by completing her Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate in 2019. She is currently completing her full Early Childhood Educator Certificate, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023.

Mary Mai – Teacher

Mary was born and raised in China. She has been working as an educator since 2020. She finished her Early Childhood Educator certificate in 2020 and furthered her Infant / Toddler Educator certificate in 2022. Being a mother of three kids, she loves to work with children. Her greatest passion is to see the children grow and learn. Her philosophy is to create joyful moments in each child’s life by engaging in creative plays and hands-on activities in a flexible and safe environment.
